Aerospace and defence manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace has officially opened its manufacturing hub in Hyderabad. The newly inaugurated facility, with the potential for expansion up to 160,000 square feet, is designed to offer comprehensive manufacturing solutions for the aerospace and defence industries, according to a company statement.
This development follows closely after Jeh Aerospace secured $2.75 million in seed funding from investors such as General Catalyst, Airbus India's former CEO and MD Dwarakanath Srinivasan, and former President of Boeing India Pratyush Kumar.
Co-founded by Vishal R. Sanghavi, former Chief Operating Officer at Tata Boeing Aerospace, and Venkatesh Mudragalla, an ex-senior executive at Tata Sikorsky Aerospace Ltd., Jeh Aerospace specialises in providing manufacturing solutions to the aerospace and defence industries. Leveraging scalable manufacturing facilities and established supplier networks, the company aims to meet the needs of the aerospace and defence (A&D) sector.
The manufacturing hub, supported by vetted supplier networks meeting or exceeding global quality standards, is expected to revolutionise the supply chain experience for global aerospace customers. Vishal R. Sanghavi emphasised that the facility goes beyond being a physical space and will reshape the global aerospace and defence supply chain.
The hub's strategic objectives include creating a more resilient and adaptable aerospace supply chain, ultimately enhancing the industry's capabilities and overall resilience, according to the company.
