✅ Project to enhance urban mobility, ease congestion.
✅ GMDA prioritizing steel infrastructure for durability and efficiency.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has announced plans to install a 110-feet steel foot overbridge (FOB) in a key village to enhance pedestrian safety and ease traffic congestion. The project, aimed at improving connectivity, is part of the city’s broader urban development initiatives.
The FOB will be constructed using high-quality steel, ensuring durability and low maintenance. The structure will provide safe crossing for pedestrians, particularly benefiting schoolchildren, elderly residents, and daily commuters. GMDA officials have stated that the bridge is being designed to handle heavy footfall while minimizing disruption to vehicular movement.
This initiative aligns with Gurugram’s smart city vision, where modern infrastructure is being prioritized to improve public convenience and traffic management. The project is expected to be completed in the coming months, providing a much-needed solution for pedestrian safety in the area.
