Servotech Power Systems Ltd (SPSL) recently announced a significant achievement by securing a contract worth Rs 120 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). The contract involves the installation of 1,800 fast Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across diverse locations in India. This noteworthy project encompasses two variants of chargers, namely 60 kW and 120 kW, with the company setting an ambitious goal to complete the entire project by the end of the current year.
As a notable entity listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Servotech Power Systems Ltd specialises in manufacturing EV chargers, solar products, and various other items. The company expressed its commitment to advancing the adoption of EVs in India through this substantial order from BPCL.
The 1,800 DC fast EV charging stations ordered by BPCL signify a strategic partnership between the two entities. In an official statement, Servotech Power Systems highlighted the significance of establishing a dynamic EV charging network that enhances accessibility for EV owners nationwide. The company emphasised its role in contributing to India's ambitious goals in the E-Mobility sector, aiming to propel the nation towards becoming an EV-powered nation.

These chargers are expected to play a pivotal role in realising India's aspirations in the E-Mobility sector. The goal is to facilitate convenient and widespread EV charging infrastructure, ultimately contributing to the country's transition towards electric mobility.
