Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to lead a high-level state delegation at India Steel 2025, the country’s premier steel industry exhibition and conference, scheduled to be held in Mumbai next month.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, in association with FICCI, will bring together industry stalwarts, policymakers, and global buyers. Odisha, being India’s steel capital with major integrated steel plants and mineral reserves, aims to showcase its investment opportunities and policy initiatives at the event.
According to state officials, the delegation will focus on attracting investments in value-added steel, infrastructure, and green energy initiatives, apart from promoting the upcoming Odisha Steel Hub Vision 2040. Odisha’s presence at India Steel 2025 is expected to bolster partnerships and drive investor confidence in the region's robust industrial ecosystem.
“Odisha has emerged as a steel powerhouse. This event is a great opportunity to build new alliances and reaffirm our position as the leading steel-producing state,” said CM Majhi ahead of the visit.
