A landmark in global sports infrastructure.
Metinvest's Spartan UK has supplied 1,000 tonnes of hot-rolled steel plates for Everton Football Club's new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool. This contribution was pivotal in realizing the stadium's innovative 'no-blockwork' design, which forgoes traditional masonry in favor of precisely assembled steel components.

Metinvest's Contribution
Spartan UK, a subsidiary of Metinvest Group, supplied 1,000 tonnes of hot-rolled plates essential for the stadium's structural integrity. These plates were integral to the 'no-blockwork' construction approach, which required high-quality materials and precise assembly.
Construction Highlights
Severfield, the UK's leading structural steel specialist, was responsible for designing, fabricating, and erecting approximately 12,200 tonnes of structural steel for the stadium.
The construction featured five long-span roof trusses—two in the north stand and three in the south—each measuring 170 meters in length and weighing up to 200 tonnes.
The final 100-tonne steel truss was installed ahead of schedule in early 2023, showcasing the efficiency and coordination of the construction team.
