Jindal Stainless has introduced ‘JSL Saathi Pragati’, a nationwide initiative designed to help retailers and fabricators verify the authenticity of stainless steel products and strengthen trust across the supply chain. The programme aims to curb the circulation of counterfeit or sub-standard material, a recurring concern in India’s growing stainless steel market.
Through the platform, enrolled retailers and fabricators can validate the genuineness of Jindal Stainless products using unique identification features. The system is intended to promote transparent sourcing, ensure end-users receive certified quality, and reinforce brand assurance for small and medium businesses that depend heavily on reliable material procurement.
Beyond verification, JSL Saathi Pragati offers multiple value-added benefits. Participants can earn reward points on verified purchases, access technical guidance, and take part in training modules to upgrade fabrication skills. The programme also provides accidental life insurance cover for registered fabricators, reflecting the company’s focus on worker welfare in addition to supply-chain integrity.
Jindal Stainless stated that the initiative is part of its broader strategy to formalise the stainless steel ecosystem, support retail partners, and elevate product-quality standards nationwide. The company expects the programme to encourage wider adoption of certified stainless steel and reduce market inconsistencies caused by counterfeit supplies.
