CCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL), wants to be a JV partner, with the state government providing land while CCL ensures coal supply. Discussions on the proposal took place last week between CCL officials and the Jharkhand government. Two panels will be formed to determine the partnership details in the JV, including the percentage contribution from both parties.
