Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited (TVNL) aims to set up 2X560 MW coal-fired supercritical units for the extension project at the Lalpania location in Bokaro district, Jharkhand.
CCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL), wants to be a JV partner, with the state government providing land while CCL ensures coal supply. Discussions on the proposal took place last week between CCL officials and the Jharkhand government.
