India–US Trade Tensions Rise Over Steel and Auto Tariffs NMDC Limited reports a 38% drop in Q4 FY24 consolidated net profit RINL to Raise $23 Million Through Land Sales Amid Crisis

The four-lane corridor will bypass key traffic hotspots, including Eldams Road, Nandanam, and Cenotaph Road. Due to the presence of the underground Metro line, the project will use a prefabricated structure with shallow foundations instead of traditional deep piling.
Initially estimated at ₹390 crore, the project cost has risen to ₹621 crore, factoring in additional components such as advanced ground stabilization, safety systems for the Metro tunnel, and long-term maintenance.
Construction began in early 2025, and the project is expected to be completed in 30 months. Once operational, the elevated corridor is expected to significantly reduce travel time and ease traffic flow in one of Chennai’s busiest corridors.
