                            According to a top corporate executive, NTPC Ltd, India's largest power generator, plans to go public with its green energy unit in the fiscal year ending March 2025.
The state utility also intends to add 3 GW of coal-fired power capacity and 4 to 5 GW of renewable electricity during the same period, according to the executive, who asked not to be named since the information has not yet been made public.
According to an official at the India Energy Week conference in Goa, NTPC plans to invest ₹300 billion ($3.61 billion) in FY2024/2025, with ₹220 billion coming from loans and green bonds.
