Waaree Renewable Technologies secured a ₹990.60 crore order for a 980 MWp solar project. According to a stock exchange filing, the new order was placed by Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (Waaree RTL), one of India's biggest renewable energy providers.
"Letter of award (LOA) for the execution of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for solar power plant of 980 MWp on turnkey basis" was received by Waaree RTL, the business announced.
It also stated that the amount of unfulfilled orders in the company's order book now stands at 2.141 GW. As per the LOA, the project is expected to be finished in a year and a half.
