Tata Steel has reported a 4.3% year-on-year increase in its Indian steel production, reaching a record 21.7 million tons for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. This milestone was achieved through the commissioning of India's largest blast furnace at Kalinganagar and the full-capacity operation of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited.
Deliveries in India also reached an all-time high of approximately 20.9 million tons, marking a 5.2% increase year-on-year. This growth was driven by strong domestic demand and enhanced operational efficiency.
On a consolidated basis, Tata Steel's global steel production rose by 3.3% to 30.9 million tons, while total shipments increased by 5.3% to 30.96 million tons. The company's consolidated revenue for FY2024/2025 stood at approximately $26 billion, with an EBITDA of $3.1 billion, reflecting a 10% year-on-year improvement.
