JSW Steel introduced GreenEdge, a sustainable steel brand.

Assists customers in decreasing carbon footprint.

Focuses on infrastructure, auto, and renewable energy segments.

India's largest steel maker, JSW Steel, has formally introduced its new sustainable steel brand, GreenEdge, which will assist industries in decreasing their carbon footprint. The move is part of the firm'broader strategy to join global sustainability efforts and India's climate action.

GreenEdge steel products are
produced using processes that cut greenhouse gas emissions by many fold compared to traditional methods. The company says that these products have high standards of environmental integrity and provide customers with traceable, environmentally friendly material choices without sacrificing performance or quality.

The introduction of GreenEdge is a step towards sustainable manufacturing practices, according to JSW Steel's management. The product portfolio will target industries such as infrastructure, auto, and renewable energy, where demand for green materials is accelerating at a fast pace.

This
step not only enhances JSW's ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) credentials but also makes it an active participant in the global shift to cleaner industries. The company will increase the GreenEdge offerings with additional variants over the next couple of months.

Through this step, JSW Steel intends to provide its clients with steel solutions that are both operationally efficient and environmentally friendly.
