Gensol Engineering plans to build a 160 MW solar power project in Bhavnagar, Gujarat worth ₹128 crore. According to a regulatory filing, the company has established the ground-mounted project for Continuum Green Energy on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.
"Gensol announces the successful completion of 160 MW solar installation in Bhavnagar valued at ₹128 crore. This is the sixth major ground-mount project, alongside ground-mount solar projects in Karnataka, Haryana, Gujarat, and Jharkhand," the filing said.
According to Gensol Engineering, its EPC order book is more than ₹1,000 crore. The business provides EPC services for the development of solar power facilities and is a member of the Gensol group of companies. Gensol has installed about 600 MW of solar power plants, both ground-mounted and rooftop, over the years. The company has also developed an electric vehicle (EV) production facility in Pune.
