Fabex Steel Structures has commissioned its second manufacturing unit at Chityal near Hyderabad with an investment of ₹120 crore on 40 acres. The facility adds 50,000 tonnes of annual capacity, taking the company’s total to 100,000 tonnes per year across its Chityal and Vijayawada units.
The new plant will focus on pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) for factories, warehouses and logistics infrastructure. Fabex plans an additional ₹100 crore over the next 24–36 months for automation, throughput enhancement and product diversification.
Co-founders Venu Chava (MD) and I. V. Ramana Raju (CEO) said the expansion strengthens Fabex’s ability to deliver multi-site, turnkey PEB projects in India and overseas. The company reported ₹463 crore turnover and employs about 400 people; headcount is expected to double to ~800 as operations scale. Fabex is targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue within three years, supported by ~70% client retention and growing exports to North America, Africa and the Middle East.
Founded in 2020, Fabex designs, fabricates and installs steel structures and PEBs. The Chityal unit is intended to meet rising demand from industrial and logistics customers while improving delivery timelines and cost efficiency.
