Crude oil futures on Monday declined 0.25% to ₹6,015 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for February delivery fell ₹15 or 0.25% to ₹6,015 per barrel with a business volume of 13,757 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.15% higher at $72.39 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.30% down at $77.56 per barrel in New York.
