AM Green, specialising in green hydrogen and green ammonia, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Envision Energy International. The strategic partnership, announced at the World Economic Forum's Annual Summit in Davos, Switzerland, aims to advance clean energy projects in India. The collaboration includes the manufacturing of wind turbines tailored to AM Green's needs and a joint venture in green hydrogen initiatives.

As part of the agreement, AM Green commits to procuring a minimum of 2 gigawatts (GW) of wind turbine capacity annually over the next three years. This move is crucial for building a robust and reliable supply chain within India for high-quality, cost-effective wind turbines, supporting the continuous power supply for AM Green's green molecule plants across the nation.

Beyond wind turbine production, the partnership extends to developing green hydrogen projects and establishing net-zero industrial parks. AM Green and Envision plan to collaborate on setting green hydrogen industrial standards, leveraging their combined technical expertise.

AM Green, founded by Anil Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Kolli of the Greenko Group, aims to be a global leader in producing green hydrogen, green ammonia, and other green molecules. The company's initiatives include the development of various green molecules such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, biofuels, green caustic soda, and e-methanol in India.

Mahesh Kolli expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "This partnership is bringing together two industry specialists to harness their manufacturing strengths to create sustainable business ventures for the long term. We are excited about the opportunity ahead in global decarbonisation."

Kane Xu, Global VP and Country President of India at Envision emphasised their shared vision for global decarbonisation. He stated, "This exciting partnership will also provide cutting-edge solutions to positively impact India's aggressive net zero and green energy goals."

Envision Group, based in China, is a prominent player in the green technology space, offering smart wind turbines, energy storage systems, AIoT-powered batteries, and operating the world's largest AIoT system.
