Asian Energy Services Ltd (AESL) and its joint venture partner have obtained a Letter of Award (LoA) from Central Coalfields Ltd, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, for a ₹250 crore project. The project includes all civil, structural, electrical and mechanical works and a five-year operation and maintenance contract. It also consists of the planning, designing, engineering, building, fabrication, erection, supply, installation, testing, trial run and commissioning of a coal handling plant at KARO OCP.
"This LoA marks a major milestone for AESL, not only expanding its services portfolio but also reinforcing its presence in India's rapidly expanding energy infrastructure sector," the company stated. The execution of works under this project will contribute significantly to the company's financial performance in FY25 and FY26 while providing long-term revenue visibility, it added.
Kapil Garg, Managing Director of AESL, expressed enthusiasm over the award, stating, "The LoA from CCL is a testament to our expertise and reputation in the energy industry. It enhances our commitment to delivering top-notch projects and services." He further emphasized the project's role in strengthening AESL's order book, which now stands at approximately ₹1200 crore, providing a solid foundation for revenue visibility for FY25 and beyond.
