Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) has launched its first steel fabrication unit in Pathredi, Haryana, with an investment of ₹125 crore, marking a significant milestone in its downstream integration and value-added product portfolio.
Spread across 32 acres, the state-of-the-art facility will have an annual fabrication capacity of 50,000 tonnes and will cater to sectors such as infrastructure, architecture, railways, and industrial applications. The company said the plant will produce modular stainless-steel structures designed to promote sustainable construction solutions and reduce carbon footprints.
Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director of Jindal Stainless, said the facility will “drive innovation in design and modular construction while strengthening India’s capability in sustainable infrastructure development.”
The new unit also aligns with the government’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives by promoting domestic manufacturing and creating local employment opportunities.
By entering the fabrication space, Jindal Stainless aims to move further up the value chain — from raw stainless steel production to finished, ready-to-install structural solutions — reinforcing its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and self-reliance in India’s growing infrastructure landscape.
