The International Conference on Steel took place in Ranchi, India on May 30-31, 2024. According to the press release, the conference drew participation from industry experts, including technology providers, steel producers, manufacturers, and academia.

The inaugural session of the conference will be attended by various dignitaries, including the Secretary-Ministry of Steel, the Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, the Joint Secretary-MoS, the Secretory, the CMD-NMDC, the CMD-MOIL, and the CMD-SAIL.
