New Delhi, April 11, 2025 — Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), one of India’s leading stainless steel manufacturers, has entered into a strategic agreement to source clean energy, targeting a 40% reduction in its dependency on conventional power sources.
The pact is a step toward bolstering JSL’s sustainability commitment, aligning with India’s broader green transition goals. The move is also expected to significantly lower the company’s carbon emissions and energy costs over the long term.
JSL has been gradually investing in renewable energy integration, including solar and wind power, across its operations. With this new agreement, the company accelerates its journey toward becoming a low-carbon steel producer, reinforcing its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) vision.
