According to data sourced from the Indian Ports Association (IPA) on Friday, India's coal imports through all major ports in the country during the April–December period of the fiscal year 2023–24 have been provisionally estimated at 48.825 million MT, up 12.97% year on year. The total freight flow of iron ore, including pellets, was provisionally assessed to have been 43.141 million mt for the April–December fiscal year 2023–24, a rise of 45.40% year over year.
