Vikram Solar announced on Friday that it has received a 397.7 MWp solar module supply order for NTPC's Khavda plant in Gujarat. Vikram Solar has received a 397.7 MWp module supply order from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, according to a company release, with the modules powering a large amount of the 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat.
The initiative completely matches with the local Content Requirement (DCR), reaffirming the company's commitment to strengthening India's local solar manufacturing capabilities, according to the statement.
"Our successful execution of numerous solar projects for NTPC has fostered a deep trust, built on a shared commitment to excellence," Gyanesh Chaudhary, the Managing Director and Chairman.
