Vedanta's aluminium production climbed 6% to 5,99,000 tonnes in the third quarter of FY24. The company's aluminium output stood at 5,66,000 tonnes in the year-ago period. Zinc International's total mined production fell 40% to 41,000 tonnes in the December quarter compared to 69,000 tonnes in the year-ago period. In a regulatory filing, Vedanta mentioned its production of saleable iron ore in Karnataka was flat at 1.4 million tonnes in the third quarter of this fiscal.
