Tenova has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress across its metals and mining businesses through cleaner technologies, innovation and responsible operations.The report outlines advances in direct reduced iron and electric arc furnace projects, which support the steel industry’s transition toward lower-emission production. It also highlights TenovaLAB’s selection as a European demonstrator for hydrogen-based industrial reheating technologies under the HyTecHeat project.
Tenova reported that five of its seven European and Italian research and development proposals secured funding, strengthening its pipeline of sustainable industrial solutions. The company also recorded an 8% year-on-year increase in employee training during 2025.
Alongside technology development, Tenova continues to invest in renewable energy, governance, workforce development and safer industrial processes. The report reflects the company’s long-term strategy to help steel and mining customers reduce emissions, improve resource efficiency and create lasting value through sustainable engineering.
