SJVN Green Energy has inked a power supply agreement with Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Ltd for 300 MW. According to the firm, JKPCL will receive 300 MW of power from the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar project, which is being created at a cost of ₹5,491 crore under the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme of IREDA (Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency).
The project is expected to be completed by July 2024 and is being developed in the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) method.
"Wholly owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has signed the Power Usage Agreement (PUA) with Jammu & Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) at Jammu on Feb 23, 2024 for 300 MW Solar Power Capacity," SJVN said in the filing to BSE.
