JSW Group, a big company in India, is now getting into the defence industry. They've created a new part of their business called JSW Defence and Aerospace. This new part will make advanced equipment for the Indian military and also sell these products to other countries. They want to help India become a big player in the global defence market and aim to contribute to India making $5 bn from defence exports. JSW Defence has already bought a majority share in a company that makes tough off-road vehicles, called Gecko Motors. They've renamed it JSW Gecko Motors Pvt Ltd as part of their first move into the defence sector.
