In a significant move aimed at accelerating India's infrastructure modernization, Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has partnered with Interarch Building Solutions, a leading pre-engineered building (PEB) manufacturer. This collaboration is expected to bring innovation, sustainability, and speed to the country’s growing demand for efficient and scalable urban infrastructure.
The alliance will focus on leveraging JSPL's premium steel solutions and Interarch's design and construction expertise to deliver high-quality structures such as metro stations, airports, warehouses, and smart city modules. With India’s urban population projected to rise sharply, the demand for quick and sustainable construction methods is more critical than ever.
By promoting pre-engineered steel buildings, the partnership aims to reduce construction time by up to 40%, cut carbon emissions, and ensure cost-effectiveness. This aligns with the government’s "Make in India" and smart city initiatives, positioning both companies as pioneers in reshaping India's infrastructure development.
JSPL and Interarch also plan to explore export opportunities in South Asia and Africa, eyeing global markets with their combined strength.
