Jaydeep Steelwork India Pvt Ltd has signed an MoU with the Maharashtra government to set up an integrated steel project in Nagpur with an investment of ₹1,375 crore. The project is expected to generate over 600 direct jobs along with significant indirect employment in allied industries.

The agreement was finalized during the Steel Mahakumbh event in Mumbai, attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, and Industries Minister Uday Samant.

Jaydeep Steelwork, a subsidiary of Jaydeep Ispat and Alloys Pvt Ltd, aims to strengthen its presence in the steel manufacturing sector through this project. The initiative is part of a broader set of MoUs signed at the event, where nine companies pledged a combined investment of ₹80,962 crore, projected to create over 40,000 jobs across Maharashtra.

Officials said the investments will boost the state’s industrial ecosystem and reinforce Maharashtra’s position as a hub for steel and allied industries.
