Zamil Structural Steel Co. Egypt, a subsidiary of Advanced Building Industries Company “SENAAT,” has signed a contract with Qatar-based Elegancia Steel Company for a major steel structures project in Algeria. The agreement covers the design, manufacture and supply of steel structures, along with cladding works using insulated panels, for the benefit of Baladna Algeria S.P.A.
The project adds fresh momentum to regional demand for fabricated structural steel, especially in large industrial and agri-infrastructure developments. Reports peg the contract value at around SAR 362.6 million, highlighting the scale of the supply opportunity for Zamil’s steel business.
For the steel industry, the deal reflects growing cross-border demand for engineered steel structures across the Middle East and North Africa. It also strengthens Zamil Structural Steel’s presence in export markets while supporting Algeria’s expanding industrial project pipeline.
