Shyam Metalics & Energy drew market attention after reporting a sharp rise in stainless steel sales in March 2026. The company’s stainless steel sales volume climbed 58.91% year on year to 10,519 MT, while average realisation rose 19.01% to Rs 1,52,633 per MT. The update helped lift the stock 4.65% to Rs 831.25 in early trade. Beyond stainless steel, CR coil and sheet sales also posted strong growth, while aluminium foil, speciality alloys, carbon steel and pellets recorded higher volumes and better realizations. The March business update points to healthy demand across key segments and strengthens the company’s growth narrative in the metals space.
