SAIL's Rourkela Mill HRC Output Rises 8.3% in April-Feb

SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) reported an 8.3% increase in hot-rolled coil (HRC) production during the April-February period of the fiscal year 2024-25. This growth reflects improved operational efficiency and strong demand from key domestic sectors.

Key Details:

Total HRC output at RSP reached 2.5 million tonnes in the April-February period.
The plant benefited from enhanced production processes and reduced downtime.
Increased demand from the automotive and construction sectors drove higher output.
SAIL has invested in modernizing its rolling mills, improving efficiency and product quality.
RSP also registered growth in export orders for HRC, boosting overall performance.

Market Impact:
