Indian government-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd is looking for global suppliers for 60,000 million tonnes (MT) of low ash metallurgical coke from a single source, according to company sources.

The imports will fall within the purview of a global tender that RINL will announce, and qualified international vendors must submit their offers by June 12, 2024.

The established blast furnace grade coke producers who possess cokeries or intermediates with authority letters from these coke producers must be eligible bidders.

The supplies will be divided into two lots of 30,000 MT each, and delivery must begin within 60 days of the letter of intent being issued.
