Rathi Steel and Power Limited has secured the GreenPro ecolabel certification for its Rathi Powertech Fe 550 Grade TMT rebars manufactured at its Ghaziabad facility. The certification, awarded by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), highlights the company’s growing focus on sustainable steel manufacturing and environmentally responsible production practices.

The GreenPro ecolabel is a recognized Type-1 certification that can support green building standards such as LEED and IGBC. For builders, developers, and structural consultants, this adds value by helping projects align with sustainability goals while also reinforcing confidence in product quality, durability, and compliance.

The development also reflects the broader shift in India’s steel sector toward green steel, lower carbon footprints, and more efficient manufacturing systems. Rathi Steel said the milestone strengthens its commitment to delivering steel solutions that support both infrastructure growth and environmental responsibility. The company, established in 1971, operates from Ghaziabad and reported FY25 revenue of ₹505.43 crore, with FY26 revenue crossing ₹715 crore.
