Ohmium International and InSolare Energy have announced a collaboration for a 4 MW green hydrogen project for NLC India Limited in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The project is expected to produce up to 700 metric tons of green hydrogen annually and support applications across power generation, industrial use and mobility.
Ohmium will provide its modular Proton Exchange Membrane electrolyser technology, while InSolare will bring its EPC and clean energy project execution expertise. The development marks another step in India’s clean energy transition, with green hydrogen gaining importance for industries seeking lower-carbon operations and future-ready fuel solutions.
For India’s steel and heavy industry ecosystem, such projects are significant as they support the wider shift toward decarbonisation, renewable energy integration and cleaner industrial fuel alternatives.
