NLC India recorded a consolidated profit of ₹254.10 crore for the quarter ending on December 31, 2023. The company reported a consolidated loss of ₹396.35 crore in the same quarter last year.
NLC India reported a decrease in consolidated revenues from ₹3,982.49 crore in the previous year to ₹3,249.391 crore in October-December, according to a BSE filing.
According to a statement from the PSU, NLCIL established a new wholly-owned subsidiary, NLC India Green Energy Ltd (NIGEL), to pursue green initiatives.
NLC India is a Navratna enterprise affiliated with the coal ministry. Its primary industries are mining and power generation.
