BHEL has received an order of over ₹3,500 crore from Adani Power Limited to build a thermal power facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The company has "signed contract agreement signed June 5, supply of equipment (boiler, turbine, generator) and supervision of erection and commissioning for 2x800 MW power project brd on Supercritical Technology", BHEL stated in a filing with the exchange.
The order is valued at about ₹3,500 crore, not including GST, according to the company. BHEL stated that the boiler and turbine generator will be constructed at its factories in Trichy and Haridwar.
