Amplus Solar intends to launch distributed green hydrogen projects by next year, according to Sharad Pungalia, CEO and Managing Director of Amplus Solar. The company manages over 1.9 GW of distributed solar assets in India that are both active and under construction. The setup of these electrolysers will benefit customers who demand distributed green hydrogen.
Amplus Solar intends to continue supplying green power while producing green hydrogen on-site, ensuring a smooth transition to low-carbon energy options. By leveraging existing customer relationships and rooftop solar installations, Amplus plans to integrate electrolysers on customer premises for hydrogen production.
The company will source electrolysers from third-party providers, similar to how it does with solar panels. Amplus Solar continues to concentrate on project development rather than equipment production to offer clients all-inclusive, renewable energy solutions.
By next year, the company intends to offer distributed green hydrogen projects to complement its solar power offerings, thereby expanding its portfolio and meeting the evolving needs of industrial and commercial clients.
