In order to meet the rising demand for cleaner fuel, Adani Total Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between the Adani Group of India and TotalEnergies of France, is planning to build more plants in India to import liquefied natural gas (LNG), the company's senior executive mentioned in a statement.
CEO Satinder Pal Singh announced that the company plans to expand its 5 million metric tonnes per year Dhamra LNG terminal in Eastern India by twice as much, with the plant now running at roughly 52% capacity. He anticipates that the Dhamra LNG plant will reach full production by 2026 or 2027.
