The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a government organisation overseeing renewable energy efforts, recently launched 'Pahal,' a journal from its Vigilance Department. The event happened in New Delhi on January 25, 2024, with IREDA's Chairman & Managing Director, Pradip Kumar Das, leading the unveiling, joined by Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Kumar Sahani and other officials.
The introduction of 'Pahal' is a significant step for IREDA in promoting transparency, accountability, and renewable energy initiatives. Pradip Kumar Das, during the unveiling, expressed excitement about the initiative, emphasising the potential impact of increased involvement from employees and their children in the journal. He highlighted the importance of contributions, like articles and poems, from children in raising awareness about renewable energy.
Das believes that encouraging participation in the Vigilance Journal will not only enhance awareness but also profoundly impact renewable energy development. The initiative reflects IREDA's commitment to transparency and accountability, with a focus on engaging both employees and children to promote understanding and support for renewable energy in India.
